- Broad-base involvement by all
College constituents and stakeholders.
- Is internalized throughout
the College.
- Uses structural processes and
tools to achieve realistic goals and objectives.
- Focus on identification and
coordination of direct and indirect measures of student learning to be
collected.
- Analysis of data drives
decisions for organizational and programmatic change.
Strategies of
Institutional Effectiveness Council
1.
Develop
and maintain annual institutional effectiveness plan (IEP) based on the
strategic directions of the college.
2.
Coordinate
the scheduling of workshops/presentations designed to develop faculty/staff
assessment expertise.
3.
Collect
institutional AAA and integrated marketing plans and provide aggregate feedback
summaries to all College units for insight and discussion.
4.
Develop
assessment reward and recognition criteria to celebrate outstanding levels of
college achievement.
5.
Provide
for availability of assessment resources for college use. (may be on intranet,
library, consultants, article sharing)
6.
Develop
and implement an annual environmental scanning session where all
faculty/staff/and community partners can participate
7.
Develop
action form to request budget items based on outcomes assessment
8.
Develop
grid tool for annual reporting and analyzing of academic and administrative
assessment.
9.
Prepare
and publish an annual institutional effectiveness report for community
awareness.
10. Coordinate the design,
distribution, collection, analysis and interpretation of all college surveys
and identifying data based on the six themes that provide strategic direction
for Clarkson College.
11. Coordinate the reports of the
Institutional Review Board as they relate to Institutional Effectiveness.
12. Coordinate and monitor the
development and implementation of special projects.
