It is a time of new beginnings and continued successes as Clarkson College kicks off 2008 with an anniversary theme: 120 Years of Educating Health Care Professionals. 

  

My long association with Clarkson College, and the community it represents, helps me to celebrate the successful history the institution enjoys. While at the same time, it enables me to anticipate the successes to come. And, they will continue to come. 

  

We are very fortunate to have a mission-driven organization led in that spirit by our Board of Directors. There is a heightened awareness of what is needed to move us forward in the new century amidst the complexities facing the health care industry and education today. 

  

There is no doubt that wherever you go in this region, your Clarkson College education will serve you well. Employers respond to the positive reputation the College has of graduating exceptional individuals. 

  

You can go anywhere in the country to work as current demographic and statistical information continue to show the huge demand for health care professionals. 

  

You also have a unique opportunity to participate in an outstanding resource base with The Nebraska Medical Center, a major research facility and a Clarkson College educational partner. 

  

I am impressed with the caliber of students we attract. And, I am proud of the energy our faculty and staff direct toward our focus of graduating caring and compassionate individuals committed to excellence.
