Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) 

• Awarded to first and second year students
• Must be:
• Pell Grant eligible
• U.S. citizen
• Full-time
• Must have completed a rigorous high school program, which includes:
• 4 years English,
• 3 years of math (including Algebra I & a higher level math like Algebra II, Geometry, Data Analysis, Statistics),
• 3 years social science,
• 3 years science (including 2 from Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and
• 1 year foreign language.
• Awards range from $750 for first year, and $1300 for second year students
• Second year students must have a 3.0 GPA at the end of their first year

  

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) 

• Federally funded
• Must be Pell Grant-eligible
• Eligibility determined by FAFSA
