Tuition Payment
Tuition Due Date: Due by the end of the third week of Classes.
Upon
registering for classes, a student becomes financially responsible for all
tuition, housing (if applicable) and fees charges. Student account balances
must be paid in full, or a payment plan submitted to the Student Accounts
Manager before the third week of the semester. It is the student's
responsibility to make appropriate payment arrangements and payments on time.
Billing Statements
Clarkson
College tuition and fees billing statements are available through IQ. Web. It is the student's responsibility to
view his or her statement and pay the account balance by the end of the third
week of the semester. Statements will not be mailed to students. More

Late Payments: Failure to comply with this
payment policy may result in assessment of up to four late payment fees per
semester to the student's account and/or the student being dropped from
classes.

Clarkson
College accepts cash, checks, credit cards, money orders and cashier's checks
for payment of tuition, fees and housing charges. Personal checks returned
due to insufficient funds or a closed account will be assessed a processing
fee. Students are required to make any subsequent payments to Clarkson
College with cash, money order or a cashier's check.

Payment Options: Clarkson College offers payment
plan options to all students.
Enrollment in a payment plan must be submitted to the Student Accounts
Manager each semester before the tuition payment due date.

A
student should contact the Student Accounts Manager if they are eligible for
tuition assistance from a source outside of Clarkson College, such as
Veterans' Administration, the student's employer, Workforce Development or
Vocational Rehabilitation. Billing statements from Clarkson College will be
mailed to any agency that will make payments on the student's behalf.
However, before any account information can be shared with an outside party,
the student must first complete a Release of Information form and submit it
to the Student Accounts Manager.

In
accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA),
information cannot be released to or discussed with anyone other than the
student unless the student provides Clarkson College with a completed Information
Release Form. The release form allows the student to designate to whom
Clarkson College can release student information.

Expecting Financial
Aid: Financial
aid (scholarships, grants and loans) will be applied to student accounts
beginning 10 days prior to the start of each term. Federal Stafford Loan
borrowers have 14 days from the day the loan is credited to the account to
cancel the loan. Please call our office if you are considering canceling your
student loan.

Information

The IRS
allows you to deduct different expenses and provides tax breaks or tax
credits. We have provided some resources and links to help you claim
education tax credits and deductions. Consult your financial, tax or other
advisor for more information.
