Clarkson College, in
Collaboration with UNMC, Selects e2Campus for its Mass Emergency Notification
System
E2Campus,
a private company with many large and well-known universities as clients, has
been selected by UNMC and Clarkson College to provide emergency notification
through text messaging. This service requires students and faculty/staff to
sign up for this service. Clarkson College Students, Faculty and Staff can
register on the e2Campus Emergency Notification System by first logging onto IQ.

page.
*Please Note: If you have not requested access
to IQ. Web, you must first set up an account in IQ.Web to be able to use the
e2Campus System.
About e2Campus
The
selective mass communications platform, which is aimed at improving safety on
campus, enables the rapid delivery of messages via:

Mobile
phone (SMS text message).
·
E-mail
(personal or school account).
·
Campus
text pager or Blackberry device.
With
one text message, everyone who is registered can be notified about a campus
emergency. Notifications would be sent by Campus Security and are immediately
delivered to recipients.
Notifications will only be sent in the case of a potentially
life threatening circumstance.
Recipients
(students, faculty, and staff) can manage their own account via a web browser
and make updates to their device or contact information.
