Congratulations on your upcoming planned graduation! You are no doubt anticipating this milestone of achievement in your life. The goal of our graduation format is to honor your achievement by putting you at the center of the event. 

Graduation Applications 

In order to graduate, a graduation application must be filled out and returned to the Registrar's Office. It is suggested that students request a graduation audit at least two semesters prior to graduation. The applicant's coursework will be audited and a written notification of any remaining coursework will be mailed to the student.

Spring 2010 Ceremony Information 

Date/Time: Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. 

Location: LaVista Conference Center, Embassy Suites Hotel (12520 Westport Parkway) 

Parking: Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the hotel. 

Please Note: Enter in the LaVista Conference Center and graduation will be held in the Windsor Ballroom. 

Please arrive at 9:15 a.m. and be in cap and gown by 9:30 a.m.  

Do not leave personal belongings in the dressing rooms.  

Graduation Reception 

A reception consisting of brownies and punch will be held immediately following the graduation ceremony. 

Student Rehearsal Information 

Date/Time: Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. 

Location: Clarkson College, Howard Hall 

You may pick up your cap and gown after a brief rehearsal. If you are unable to attend rehearsal, your cap and gown will be available Saturday, May 1 after 9 a.m. 

Cap and Gown Rental 

Master's students are hooded at the graduation ceremony and may either rent or purchase their hood and/or gown through the Campus Corner. Please Note: The same ordering deadline applies.  

Order Deadline 

Friday, March 19, 2010 ($20 LATE FEE after March 19 and orders will no longer be accepted after March 25)

Rental Returns 

All rental gowns and master's hoods are to be returned at the LaVista Conference Center immediately following the graduation ceremony. 

The cap and tassel are yours to keep.
