Online Education Registration Information

Clarkson College recognizes that all students do not have the opportunity to give up and/or move to campus to continue their education. For this reason, Clarkson College offers the opportunity for working adults to complete degree programs through a variety of delivery methods including Online Education. Clarkson College offers Online Education courses throughout the year.

Courses are organized into 15-week semesters (Fall and Spring), one 12-week Summer Semester, and 6-week courses. Check with your academic advisor to see if an Online Education is right for you.

Equipment Requirements

Clarkson College online education students are required to have specific equipment ensuring compatibility and power to handle projects and tasks.

Web Mail Account

Upon registration you will receive an email account with Clarkson College. It is very important that you check this account daily as departments and faculty at Clarkson College will only send email messages to this account.

Book Ordering

Online students are responsible for ordering their textbooks and course packs each semester from the Campus Corner at www.clarksonbooks.com. Students are encouraged to order their textbooks at least two weeks before the first day of the semester.

Test Proctor

All students must have a Test Proctor available to them each semester. On-campus students taking a course online may elect to use the Testing Center as their Test Proctor.

Test Proctor Forms

Clarkson College views scholastic honesty as a reflection of a student's personal integrity. Therefore, all students are required and expected to maintain the highest standard of scholastic honesty in the preparation of all work and examinations. All online education students and their test proctors must complete the Test Proctor Agreement/Scholastic Honesty Statement Form (PDF format) prior to the start of the semester. These forms will be kept on file in the Coordinator of Online Education office. The Test Proctor Agreement/Scholastic Honesty Statement Form must be updated when the test proctor information changes or the form is updated.

Online Education Manual

Much of the information you will need to know to get started with the Online Education programs can be found in the Online Education section of this site or in the Online Education Manual (PDF format).
