Meet Lacey Fuzzell, President

Why did you choose Clarkson
College?
Everyone
was very helpful during the application and paperwork process with me being
out of state. When I visited the campus, it was so welcoming and friendly. I
decided this was the environment I wanted to be a part of.
Why did you choose your major?
I felt God wanted me to explore the field
of nursing. I like helping people and want to make a positive impact on those
I come in contact with.
What
are some of your interests (hobbies, leisurely activities, etc.)?
I like to draw for fun when I have the
time, spend time outdoors, hang out with friends and watch movies, NFL and
Nascar.
What is the best part of living
on campus?
The College isn't too far away! I don't
get very excited when it comes to driving in the snow, so living on campus
suits me.
What would you like to accomplish
in the Residence Hall Council this year?
Since
RHC is new, our first year will consist of laying the groundwork. We hope to
be a voice for the residents and start creating a community of involvement.

Meet Carolyn Younes, Vice
President
BSN student, Sophomore
Hometown: Kearney, NE

Why did you choose Clarkson
College?
I chose Clarkson College because I did not want
to go to a big school. I also picked the College because I am still in
Nebraska and am close enough to my family and can go home when I need to.
There are also several different hospitals that we can go to with clinical
and gain different experiences.
Why did you choose your major?
I chose
nursing because I wanted to do something in the health care field, and
nursing fits my personality the best.
What are some of your interests
(hobbies, leisurely activities, etc.)?
I
love scrap booking, making jewelry and, of course, shopping.
What is the best part of living
on campus?
The best part about living on campus is not
having to worry about leaving home early enough to find parking. It's also
really convenient, and I don't have to worry about paying rent every month.
What would you like to accomplish in the Residence Hall Council this
year?
I would like to see an opportunity to do
community service and to help the residents get more involved through
activities.

Meet Julie Roth, Secretary
Physical Therapist Assistant/Health
Care Business Management student, Junior
Hometown: Papillion, NE
|
|
Why did you choose Clarkson
College?
The
faculty members are friendly, and it was one of the few colleges in Nebraska
that had a Health Care Business program. This year I have the opportunity to
start a dual degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) without changing
schools.
Why did you choose your major?
I
started as a Health Care Business major because I wasn't sure about working
with patients, but I wanted to impact health care. Now, I have the desire to
start interacting with patients, so I applied for the PTA program.
What are some of your interests
(hobbies, leisurely activities, etc.)?
I enjoy reading, being with
friends, hand bell choir and shopping.
What is the best part of living
on campus?
It is great having the resources
of the college available in only a two minute walk.
What would you like to accomplish in the Residence Hall Council this
year?
I hope everyone in the Residence Hall can
come together more often.

Why did you choose Clarkson
College?
I
really like that it is a small college. I also like the fact that I can have
a part-time job while going to school.
Why did you choose your major?
I
have wanted to study sonography forever, and to get into sonography, I need
to be RT certified. While looking into Radiology, I noticed all the other
modalities and it really sparked my interest.
What are some of your interests
(hobbies, leisurely activities, etc.)?
I
love reading and watching my favorite television shows - "Dancing with the
Stars," "Bones," "House," "Private Practice" and "Grey's Anatomy." I also
enjoy spending time with my family and boyfriend.
What is the best part of living
on campus?
It
is very convenient and only takes two minutes to walk to classes.
What would you like to accomplish in the Residence Hall Council this
year?
I hope to help students to get more
involved in the Residence Hall. Being the treasurer, I want to make a budget
that the Council can follow to provide more activities for the residents.
