Why did you choose Clarkson
College?
I chose
Clarkson College because it has a great nursing program, the people are
friendly and the size of the College is perfect for me. I love the city life
but having grown up in a small town I am used to the small school atmosphere,
so I feel a little more at home here.
Why did you choose your major?
Nursing
runs in my family. I grew up listening to my grandma, my aunts, and my mom
(all nurses) telling story after story about nursing and its endless
opportunities, so from the time I was very little, I've always wanted to be a
nurse and help others!
What is the best part of living
on campus?
By
living on campus, not only do you get to meet and interact with more of the
residents, but you will make friends and memories to last a lifetime. It is
also very convenient. You can wake up 15 minutes before class and be there
just in time!
What would you like to
accomplish in the Residence Hall this year?
I would
really like for the residents to take a break from the stressful life of
college and endless homework and get more involved in the Residence Hall and
campus activities. I also know how scary it can be moving into a new place,
so I want to make the residents feel safe and at home here and let them know
that there is always someone to talk to!
What has been your favorite
moment of being a RA?
I just
began my position as a RA, but I am looking forward to getting to know the
residents and finding fun, exciting ways for everyone to enjoy the time they
spend here at Clarkson College.
