Who teaches your RT courses?
There are currently six faculty teaching in the RT program, and all are certified radiographers. They have advanced certifications in the areas of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Computer Tomography (CT), Mammography (M) and Bone Densitometry (BD).

What type of degree would I receive upon completion of the program?
Upon completion of the RT program, the students will graduate with an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology. Those students wishing to work towards their bachelor degree will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging. Students have the opportunity to work on their Associate and Bachelor degrees simultaneously in the Dual RT/MI option.

Is the RT program accredited with the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)?
The Clarkson College RT program is accredited with the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), and Clarkson College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). The most recent accreditation was received by JRCERT in 2000 for the maximum of eight years. Graduates from programs that do not have the JRCERT accreditation may by limited in their job opportunities in states which only hire graduates from a JRCERT accredited program.
