Health Information Management professionals are experts in
managing patient health information and medical records, administering computer
information systems and coding the diagnosis and procedures for heath care
services provided to patients.
The Associate of Health Information Management program at
Clarkson College is accredited by the American Health Information Management
Association (AHIMA). This accreditation enables graduates to sit for the
national registry examination and earn the nationally recognized credential of
a Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT)
