Selection Process 

Completed applications will be reviewed by the Gateway to Success Scholarship 

Committee after April 1. The Gateway to Success Scholarship Committee will consist of Clarkson College administration and faculty as well as representatives from The Nebraska Medical Center. Recipients will be required to accept or reject the scholarship offer within 30 days after notification of the scholarship award. 

  

Awarding Process 

The scholarship money will be divided as follows: 

·         A total of $5,000 will be applied to the Fall semester. 

·         A total of $5,000 will be applied to the Spring semester. 

·         Students will be paid a total of $5000 upon successful completion of the 12-week Summer Internship Program at The Nebraska Medical Center. 

  

Scholarship money will be credited first to the recipient's Clarkson College student account to cover educational expenses (such expenses include tuition, fees and residence hall rent). If scholarship money remains after covering all expenses, it will be dispersed to the student. 

  

Scholarship recipients may be eligible for other forms of financial aid and can receive further information by contacting the Student Financial Services Department.
