Nurse Aide

Clarkson College offers a Nurse Aide program (CNA). Whether you want to enter the world of health care as a Nurse Aide or you just want to experience nursing before attending college, this program is for you.

This course will provide the training for a non-licensed individual to provide safe, effective and caring services to patients, residents and clients in many health care settings. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion from Clarkson College and qualify for placement on the State of Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry.

The Nurse Aide program will get you on your way to a career in nursing. Once you receive your certificate, you may go on to the Practical Nursing (PN) diploma program or pursue a degree in any of our Nursing programs.

If you are looking to meet requirements for reactivation from lapsed to active status on the NE Nurse Aide Registry, Clarkson College offers Nurse Aide competency examinations so you can complete the required state written and clinical examination.
