Reasons to Choose Our RT Program

What makes our program different?

·          Clarkson College has the only program in Nebraska designed to allow you to complete all major coursework prior to your clinical experience. This gives you all the coursework you need so that you can be competent and confident during the clinical portion of the program.

·          Our program offers two clinical experiences instead of one, giving the student the opportunity to experience a variety of equipment and routines.

·          Clarkson College has 14 clinical sites from which the student will rotate through two clinical experiences.

·          You will benefit from a very small student instructor ratio of no more than 6 to 1 for your lab experience, giving you more one-on-one time with faculty.

·          We have experienced faculty teaching in the RT program are all certified radiographers, many of which have post-primary certifications. Our faculty members are innovative, creative and fun.

·          Students who start the RT program toward an Associate degree may also complete our dual degree option in Medical Imaging (MI) at the same time.

·          We are dedicated to providing an enriching experience for you and supporting your success. Clarkson College has a dedicated Success Center with free tutoring and many other services to support your success.

·          The RTSA student organization offers you opportunity to attend a national conference.

·          The Clarkson College RT program is very proud of their first time pass rate on the national certification. For the past five years the first time pass rate for the ARRT certification is 98 percent.
