Post-MSN Certificates
Learning never stops at Clarkson College, even for the most highly educated health care professional. Clarkson College offers a Post-MSN certificate for graduate students who have already earned MSN degrees to add knowledge within a specialty. Specific offerings include:
- Family Nurse Practitioner: Educating nurses who desire preparation in advanced practice nursing, specifically in the family nurse practitioner role. View gainful employment information
- Adult–Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner: Educating nurses who desire preparation in advanced practice nursing, specifically in the adult nurse practitioner role.
- Nursing Education: Preparing nurses who desire advanced preparation in nursing education.
- Nursing Health Care Administration: Preparing nurses who desire advanced preparation in nursing health care leadership and systems.
The Post-MSN certificate represents the student's successful completion of the required courses in the chosen nursing option.
All of these programs are also available online, providing students who need flexibility with a combination of online study and one-on-one work with faculty.
Although the Post-MSN Certificate program is offered entirely online, Nurse Practitioner students enrolled in either of the Nurse Practitioner programs are required to complete minimal on-campus visits. Contact the Graduate Nursing Program Director for current details.
