Applying for Financial Aid
Here is an easy step-by-step guide for applying for financial aid:
| Step 1: | Get a Personal Identification Number (PIN) Obtain a PIN from the U.S. Department of Education. If you are a dependent student, one of the parents whose information you will provide on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) also needs to obtain a PIN. |
| Step 2: | Gather Information Gather the following documents to complete the FAFSA. Include parent and student information if you are a dependent.

| Step 3: | Complete your FAFSA Complete your FAFSA online. Students who applied for aid last year may be able to complete a Renewal FAFSA application online. When you apply online, you don't hassle with paperwork, and you get your results faster. The federal school code for Clarkson College (step 6 on the FAFSA) is 009862. | Step 4: | Additional Information You will be notified from Clarkson College as to what further information and/or documents are needed.
