For six weeks of each semester, students in the NS 431 Professional Nursing Care of Families class are privileged to meet twice a week with Julie Rickabaugh, a 43-year-old woman with Down Syndrome. The goal of this course is to familiarize students with home health nursing and the importance of assessing a learning need of their client and then educating him/her about that area.

The third annual Celebration of Writing and the Creative Arts at Clarkson College was a wonderful success. Each year, the Celebration displays the many creative talents of Clarkson College student and employees. Submissions this year included paintings, photography, short stories, poems, and textiles.

Earlier in the semester, students in the Medical Imaging 411 Cross Sectional Anatomy class approached their instructor, Trish Weber, about the opportunity to conduct a Relay for Life fundraiser in honor of a classmate's family member named Brenda who was battling cancer.
