The New Student Experience is an online platform designed to help first-time Clarkson College students transition into their new role while also serving as a resource for parents with a vested interest in their student’s education. The Student Handbook and Academic Catalog are also useful for learning about the various policies, procedures, degree plans and student involvement opportunities available at Clarkson College.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal privacy law that gives students certain protections with regard to their education records, such as grades, transcripts, disciplinary records, contact and family information, and class schedules. Parents have a right to review their child’s (student) education records and to request changes under limited circumstances. To learn more, a quick reference guide and an in-depth explination of FERPA are available.
