Clarkson College students may be eligible to claim various tax credits for their education dollars.
The Tax Relief Act of 1997 (TRA97) established two education tax credits, a tuition and fee deduction and a student loan interest deduction.

You may access your 1098T tuition statement online after Jan. 7, 2013.
To access your 1098T tuition statement for the 2012 tax year, visit the Vangent TRA Pearson website after Jan. 7. If you have not set up a user ID and password, select “First Time Students.”
If you have not accessed your 1098T on the Vangent website by Jan. 20, it will be mailed to the address on your Clarkson College record by Jan. 31, 2013.
