Whitney Lincoln: BRONZE Scholarship Recipient

 

     Whitney Lincoln's good grades from high school finally paid off as she received the Bronze Scholarship from Clarkson College. She said, "I was very excited to receive the scholarship because it meant I would not have to pay as much in tuition."  

Her experience here has not been what she was expecting after visiting bigger universities. She said "Everybody here has been very nice and helpful and eager to offer a hand if I need help."

     Lincoln is in the BSN program achieving her dream she had as a little girl to be a nurse. Although the scholarship helped, she said, "I choose Clarkson because of the smaller class sizes.  I also choose Clarkson because I got right into clinical.  I liked the fact that I didn't have to take a whole bunch of classes for 2 years that weren't really related to my major."
