Katie Barta: Recipient of the Bronze Scholarship

 

          When Katie Barta received the Bronze Scholarship, it was good to know that her academic accomplishments were appreciated. Not to mention, the financial burden it lifted off her shoulders. When asked how her experience has been at Clarkson college she said, "Clarkson has been a place I have been able to grow personally and professionally. Being involved with the Ambassador program and the PTA program has made my stay here all that more enjoyable."

          Barta chose the PTA program because she had physical therapy and enjoyed it. Katie is grateful for the encouragement that her Physical Therapist and her Physical Therapist Assistant gave to persuade her in her career choice. She likes that Clarkson College has small classes where you can get the one on one time and while being in Lincoln; it was the closest college to her.
