Marla DiMartino: Recipient of the Bronze Scholarship

After all her hard work through high school of getting good grades, it finally paid off for Marla DiMartino as she was awarded the Bronze Scholarship. She said, "I chose Clarkson College because of the friendly atmosphere and the small campus. I like being able to get to know my teachers on a personal level and being able to talk with them if I need to. On big campuses, that is very unlikely. Clarkson was also located in Omaha, which is where I wanted to attend college."

DiMartino got in to the field of nursing because of the fact that involved science and medicine in a way that you also get to care and help people on a personal level. She said, "Everyday I go to work, I hope to come home feeling as if I had made a difference in someone's life."

Clarkson College has been a growing experience, giving her the skills she needs to succeed in the profession that she loves.
