Michelle McCaslin: Recipient of the Bronze Scholarship

 

     Knowing others viewed her goals just as important as she did, made Michelle McCaslin feel good when she received the Bronze Scholarship. Her time at Clarkson has been short and sweet. McCaslin said, "I have made many great relationships with fellow students, patients, and some great teachers.  Each relationship has affected and helps shape the nurse I will be once I am out in the field." She is going to further her education and skills she learned at Clarkson College by working on a medical surgery unit.

     Michelle said, "I initially chose Clarkson over the other colleges in the Omaha area because of the smaller class size with the Fast Track, the warm atmosphere of the staff during the application process, and because of the affiliation of UNMC and the Clarkson Hospital."
