Amber Faltys: Recipient of the
Gold Scholarship
When Amber Faltys was asked what
receiving the Gold Scholarship has meant to her she said, "I was ecstatic
because all my hard work at UNO, with getting great grades to keep a high GPA
was being awarded with accomplishment of an academic scholarship. At Clarkson I
also have to work hard in my classes and do lots of studying outside of school
to keep my scholarship. I was very grateful to receive the Gold Scholarship and
it helps out with my tuition."
Her experience here has also been a
blessing. Faltys said, "My experience at Clarkson College has been wonderful.
It is a small college and a student gets to experience getting to know other
fellow students in your class to develop friendships through your academic
career there. The professors are wonderful in teaching you what you need to
know in order to graduate. The professors go out of there way to make sure a
student understands the material. I believe the professors are there to see you
succeed through school. The staff is great, everyone is friendly and they plan
events to bring the whole student body together and let the students take a
study break and have some fun."
Amber is in the Radiologic Technology
and Medical Imaging program and will graduate in August 2006.
