SGA Formal Meeting: February 26, 2008

 

Vice - president called meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.

OFFICE REPORTS

Christina Pick, Vice President: updated filing cabinet, took in cans

Kaitlin Schrader, Secretary: minutes, took in cans

Molly Bisenius, PR Chair: been in contact with marketing, deadline pushed back a week,

get articles in to Nicole or Chelsey

Jennifer, Treasurer: updated budget

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

Bylaws:

·         All proposed bylaw changes where discussed and formally voted on.

·         All changes where approved.

·         Student can view the updated bylaws on the SGA website.

 

Election Rules:

·         All proposed changes where discussed and formally voted on.

·         All changes where approved.

 

Filing Cabinet:

·         Please put all original official documents in the filing cabinet this week.

 

SPEAKERS:

 

PTA Request:

·         Fund request for $300 for their students mock boards

·         Was voted on and approved

 

SNA Request:

·         Fund request for $200 for food at the pinning ceremony.

·         Was voted on and approved

 

LPN Request:

·         Requested to have a bake sale the week of March 17th.

·         Voted on and approved for any day except for Monday

 

Committee Reports:

SPC:

·         Nothing new

SLC:

·         Working on getting girls to do the mani/pedi's at spa day

·         Stay in contact with your oprganizations during elections

·         Get all invites out

Election:

·         25 - 28 campaign. Elections Mar 31 - Apr 7

·         Ask for candidate ideas from organizations

·         Hand out applications

·         Apps due March 24th

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

·         Received a thank you card from RT for the funds we gave them
