SGA Formal Meeting: March 25, 2008

 

President called meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.

Recognition Book and Bear

Christina gave Kaitlin the book and bear.

 

OFFICE REPORTS

·         Katie Nichols, President: end of year wrap up

·         Christina Pick, Vice President: working on recycling

·         Kaitlin Schrader, Secretary: working on end of year transition paperwork

·         Jennifer, Treasurer: updated budget

·         Molly, PR Chair: working on end of year transition paperwork

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

Recycling:

·         Cans are staying in office for the moment.

·         You do not have to do office hours due to this fact.

·         Please do not stack cans on chairs.

·         Christina is working on a solution

 

Member, Staff, and Organization of the Year:

·         Voted by written ballot.

·         Anybody absent for the meeting needs to email their votes to Kaitlin Schrader.

·         Schrader.Kaitlin@webmail.clarksoncollege.edu

 

Last Meeting:

·         April 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the 6th floor board room.

·         There will be pizza and Bonnie will also be attending.

·         Please dress nice for pictures that day.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Transitions/End of Year:

·         Transitions are just for executive members.

·         Reps need to organize their binders and bring them to the last meeting April 8th.

 

Inauguration:

·         April 15 - Please be there, if you can't be let Katie know ASAP.

·         Everyone will be honored at the ceremony.

·         If you have any pictures for the slide show, please send them to Katie.

 

Testing Center:

·         SGA comment card concerning: Why do we have a testing center? What is the purpose?

·         Remind teachers about testing center.

·         Post hours and number of computers in the library.

 

Committee Reports:

SPC:

·         Nothing new to update on.

SLC:

·         Spa Cay - Michelle will be in charge of getting food.

·         Organizations have RSVPed and are prepared.

·         PR - Molly will talk to Marketing

·         April 8 from 9 am-1 pm.

Elections:

·         Elections start on Sunday

·         There are 14 applications total.

·         6 for Nursing, 3 for Allied Health, and 1 for each of the executive positions
