COLLEGE CELEBRATES 120 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Omaha, Neb., March 31, 2008: Clarkson College celebrates
its 120 year anniversary of educating health care professionals.
"Clarkson
College was Omaha and Nebraska's first College devoted to the education of
health care professionals," said Dr. Louis Burgher, Clarkson College
president. "We have grown to a four year liberal arts College offering
undergraduate and graduate Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic
Technology, Medical Imaging, and Health Care Business Administration degrees,
just to name a few."
The
Mission,
Vision and Values of Clarkson College focus on the importance of student
learning. They guide the College in a quest to ensure students' success in
completing their health care programs through the areas of Nursing, Allied
Health, Health Care Business and Professional Development. Programs are
offered both on-campus and online through a state-of-the-art campus.
"We
have maintained our role as a private, faith-based family with a common goal
of delivering extraordinary education today in the development of health care
professionals for tomorrow," Burgher added. "We do this well because we have
had over 120 years of practice."
The
mission of Clarkson College is "preparing students to provide high quality,
ethical, and compassionate health care services," and their vision is
"developing health care professionals for today and tomorrow."
