Heartsaver® CPR AED Course

The Clarkson College Heartsaver® Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. Heartsaver courses are also available as blended learning with online training followed by a skills session with an instructor. Audience

Anyone in the general public with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.


Course Length

Courses last a maximum of three hours.


Schedule

Instructor-led courses are held on an as needed basis and can be arranged by calling our office. Blended-learning skills sessions are available most business days by appointment.

Course Materials

Heartsaver® CPR AED Student Workbook is included in the course fee for each student. The blended-learning option includes an online version of the student workbook with the program.


Certification Course Card

Upon successful completion of the course, including a skills test, students receive a Heartsaver® CPR and AED certification course card, which is valid for two years.

All class sessions are held at Clarkson College, located on 42nd and Douglas Streets in Omaha, Neb. To arrange an off-site course please call our office 402.552.3038.


Cancellation Policy

Class fees are non-refundable. Refunds are not provided if an individual cancels, does not attend or does not complete the entire class.
