Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Updated Campus Mask Guidelines Effective August, 23, 2021

Effective August 23, 2021, masks are required in all public areas on the ClarksonCollege campus where social distancing cannot occur including hallways, labs and classrooms.

At this time, classrooms will remain at 100% capacity, but faculty and students should be prepared to adjust should the situation change. Faculty are not required to wear masks when lecturing and will remain at the front of class to maintain social distancing.

While at clinicals, students and faculty must observe that institution’s mask policies. We encourage all students to discuss clinical requirements, especially those related to masks and vaccines, with their clinical coordinators and academic program directors.
