Bachelor of Science in Health Care Services
The interdisciplinary Health Care Services program prepares students for a variety of health professions outside of direct patient care. The program is offered online with select courses available on campus. Students may complete the program year-round on a full-time or part-time basis. Entry is permitted in the fall, spring and summer semesters.
Certificate in Public Health
The program introduces students to the field of public health and provides fundamental knowledge in health promotion and disease prevention, environmental health, and the U.S. health care system. Students may complete the program year-round on a full-time or part-time basis. Entry is permitted in the fall, spring and summer semesters.
This certificate option is designed to provide health care professionals of diverse interdisciplinary backgrounds with the knowledge and process of aging and how to help improve the quality of life for the geriatric population.
Human Services Certificate
This certificate option educates students about the structure of human service agencies, the forces that have influenced their development, the characteristics of populations served, problems solving skills used to assess the needs of clients, and the importance of ethical decision-making in the field.
Women’s Health Certificate
This certificate option provides a comprehensive study of historical and current issues related to the growth and development of women.
