In addition to financial aid and scholarship options, students can access financial resources to help with education costs in the following ways.

Student Employment

Clarkson College offers on-campus employment opportunities through our Student Employment program.

Resident Advisor

  • Live in the Clarkson College Residence Hall.
  • Facilitate the development of a community atmosphere.
  • Awarded a Housing scholarship for their service to the College.

Student Ambassador

  • Assist the Admissions office with recruitment and special College events.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills.
  • For their service, each Ambassador will receive a $1000 scholarship each semester.

Alumni Association Program Assistance Fund

The Clarkson College Alumni Association is dedicated to supporting alumni and current students. To ease financial burdens, we've established the Program Assistance Fund, offering financial aid for professional needs like board prep, conference fees, and academic development.

Fund Details:

  • Annual Budget: $2,000 total ($1,000 for alumni, $1,000 for current students)
  • Awards are determined by the Alumni Association Board of Directors
  • Unused funds by August 31st may be reallocated

Application Process:

  1. Complete the application form linked here.
  2. Submit to alumni@clarksoncollege.edu.
  3. Applications are reviewed by the Alumni Board, and decisions are communicated by the Alumni and Advancement Coordinator.

Alternative Loans

  • Come from a private lender who determines the interest rate and repayment terms.
  • Most require a co-signer.

Deferred Payment Plan

  • Allows the student to pay tuition and fee balance in three equal installments.

The Military

All branches offer education assistance, which may include:

  • Montgomery G.I. Bill
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Student loan repayment
