Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. All Vetter Senior Living employees, as well as their spouses and dependent children (23 years old or younger) are eligible for a Community Scholarship:
- Associates degree — Approximately $14,000 over two years*
- Bachelor's degree — Approximately $28,000 over four years*
- Master’s degree — Approximately $12,000 over three years*
- Doctoral degree — Approximately $15,000 over three years*
All applicants who meet admissions qualifications and are seeking enrollment in our online programs will be accepted. Preference will be given to applicants enrolling in our on-campus programs through additional points on their application.

*All scholarship estimates listed above are calculated at the maximum lifetime amount of each. These estimates may may or may not be reflective of your actual scholarship offering and may vary according to enrollment status as well as program of study. Scholarships are renewable for up to two years for an associate’s degree and four years for a bachelor’s degree, provided satisfactory academic progress and good standing are maintained, as outlined by Clarkson College policies. Awards are applied to tuition only. The Clarkson College Commitment to Excellence Scholarship, Founders’ Scholarship, and Community Scholarship may not be used in conjunction.
