Interprofessional Education Course

The Clarkson College Interprofessional Education (IPE) course offers insight into how health care and community professionals can collaborate by developing more effective communication and leadership skills resulting in positive outcomes. The online, self-paced format consists of eight modules that can be completed on your own schedule.

Learners will optimize their roles within an interdisciplinary team by completing modules that are designed to provide healthcare and community professionals with an overview of the IPE competencies: values and ethics, communication, teamwork, and roles and responsibilities. Additional training touches upon enhancing one's skills in managing conflict and an introduction to lifestyle medicine. Diverse learning methods including short lectures, videos, handouts, activities and self-evaluation quizzes are incorporated into the curriculum.
