The 3D Printing and Training Center was founded to address a critical need: improving access to medical 3D printing for patient care and workforce development. Today, we’re recognized as a regional leader in 3D printing, visualization, and education—and we’re proud to offer the nation’s first Medical 3D Printing Specialist Certificate. Our online program combines hands-on skills and FDA-cleared workflows, giving learners the tools to apply safe, real-world foundations to clinical applications.

Available Printers
The 3D Printing and Training Center provides an extensive range of printer technologies, encompassing everything from FDM single-color, single-material systems to advanced PolyJet platforms capable of multi-color, multi-material production. The current equipment portfolio includes the Formlabs 3BL, Stratasys J850, and more. These technologies are available for use by faculty, staff, students, institutional partners, and members of the broader community.
