Our Story
The 3D Printing and Training Center was born from a simple but powerful realization: our community needed better access to medical 3D printing—both in patient care and in workforce preparation. What began as a vision to meet a local clinical and educational gap has grown into a regional leader in medical 3D printing, visualization, and training.
We are proud to be the first in the nation to create a Medical 3D Printing Specialist Certificate , establishing a structured, academic pathway for students and professionals entering this rapidly evolving field. This pioneering program was built not just to teach technology, but to ensure competency, safety, and real-world clinical readiness. Our curriculum blends hands-on technical training with quality management systems and FDA-cleared workflows so learners are prepared to bring 3D printing safely into patient care.
At the heart of our work is the transformation of medical imaging into accurate, patient-specific 3D models and devices that enhance surgical planning, education, and communication.
