Medical Imaging Informatics
The Medical Imaging Informatics certificate program is available through the Clarkson College Medical Imaging program, which consists of four 6-week courses, all offered online. Upon completing the program and meeting the requirements of the ABII exams and/or the PARCA certification exams, you will be eligible to sit for the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII), Society in Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) CIIP exam. This certification will give you a distinct advantage in the workforce.
A PACS consists of four major components: the imaging modalities, such as CT and MRI; a secure network to transmit patient information; work stations for interpreting and reviewing images; and long- and short-term archives to store and retrieve images and reports. This system aims to improve the efficiency, accuracy, usability and reliability of medical imaging services within the health care enterprise.
The Medical Imaging Informatics certificate program is available through the Clarkson College Medical Imaging program. The four courses required to earn your certificate are completed using state-of-the-art technologies.
