Session Description
Supporting someone through grief can be daunting, whether it follows an unexpected tragedy or a long-anticipated loss. Many of us struggle to know what to say or how to respond when others are hurting. This presentation offers practical guidance and compassionate insight into how to support those experiencing grief with confidence and care.
Through shared reflection and conversation, participants will explore how to listen deeply, hold space, and avoid common pitfalls in difficult conversations. The session can be adapted for healthcare professionals seeking to strengthen communication with patients and families, or for general audiences wanting to better support friends, colleagues, and loved ones.
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of grief responses, enhanced communication skills, and renewed trust in the quiet power of human presence.
