Session Description
Developing psychological strength has become essential for success and wellbeing across different industries and daily life. All individuals, at some point in their lives, are bound to face challenges related to workplace stress, personal setbacks, academic pressure, etc. Not having the appropriate tools to navigate these challenges can lead to a loss of focus and confidence, putting motivation and perseverance to the test.
This presentation will focus on the science and practice of psychological strength, grounded in the research of Dr. Angela Duckworth, Dr. Carol Dweck, Dr. Rick Hanson, Dr. Karen Reivich, and Dr. Andrew Shatte. Presenters will guide participants into a deep exploration of the “4 Psychological Assets of Grit,” and how resilience and mindset can be nurtured and developed over time.
By the end of the session, participants will leave with practical, research-based strategies to build perseverance, manage challenges, and maintain motivation as they pursue their long-term goals. Whether in the classroom, workplace, or everyday life, participants will understand the science behind developing the right mindset and confidence needed to thrive amid challenges.
