Updates as of August 24, 2026:
We are excited to share that the South Building and new Welcome Center are now open. The Welcome Center serves as the new main entrance to campus and the Main Building. The Commons Building and Student Center entrances remain open and accessible for classes and meetings.
The Welcome Center entrance is located near 42nd and Douglas Street on the east side of the street. There are fences around this area where construction continues to take place. But there is an opening to the sidewalk, pictured here.
Please note that the second-floor bridge between the South Building and the Main Building will be closed from August 24th to September 21st. Signage will be posted to help direct you during this time.
