External Scholarships

Other scholarship opportunities are available for both new and returning students. These scholarships are "external" scholarship funds thanks to partnerships or sponsorships from various external organizations. Scholarship information is subject to change based on the agreements with each partnering institution.

Scholarship applications are accepted February 1 – March 1 and must be emailed to the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office at  financialaid@clarksoncollege.edu prior to the deadline.

Scholarship Title Description Program
Abby Olberding Makovicka PTA Scholarship Application
  • Must be a current PTA student.
  • Enrolled a minimum of half-time.
  • Exhibits past solid academic achievement with a Clarkson College GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Demonstrated financial need (determined by current FAFSA) may be considered.
  • Demonstrated leadership (involvement in activities, committees, para-professional, or
    professional organizations).
PTA, undergraduate
Brown's Medical Imaging Sponsored Scholarship Application
  • Undergraduate student in Radiography or Medical Imaging.  
  • Clarkson College GPA of 2.5 or higher.   
    Demonstrated financial need may be considered (determined by current FAFSA).
Radiography and Medical Imaging, undergraduate
Cassling Sponsored Scholarship Application
  • Medical imaging professional pursuing an academic degree, or obtaining an additional specialty certification, in 3D Printing at Clarkson College.  
  • Plan to practice care in the field of radiography/medical imaging in the Midwest region (NE, IA, KS, SD) after completing Clarkson coursework.  
  • Scholarship will be for one academic year.  
  • Previous recipients are eligible to receive more than one academic year, if the committee deems them as the best applicant.
Medical Imaging, 3D printing specialty certification
Jennifer Etheredge Memorial Scholarship Application
  • Must be an undergraduate nursing student.  
  • Must have a d emonstrated financial need ( determined by current FAFSA).  
  • The scholarship will be for one year. Previous recipients would be eligible to receive again, if the committee deems them the best applicant.
Nursing, undergraduate
Jodi Neff Schultz Scholarship Application
  • Enrolled in Radiography and Medical Imaging program at Clarkson College  
  • Exhibits past solid academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.25  
  • Committed to service to the community and others.  
  • Demonstrated financial need (requires FAFSA completion).

Scholarships are only one type of financial aid offered through the college. Other financial aid opportunities include grants, work study opportunities, and a variety of loans, including locally sponsored as well as federal loan opportunities. Clarkson College encourages students to explore all financial aid options available and to only borrow what they need to cover their educational costs.
